Since there are so many more players in Europe than North America, the list will be in done in parts with at least two countries each article. Also, only players whose first nationality is Polish.

Country: Czech

Ernest Bochnak. Age:15. Forward. Team: AZ Havirov U16 and HC Poruba U18.

This year Bochnak has played with at both the u16 and u18 level. At the u16 level, he has 9 goals and 1 assist in 8 games. At the u18 level, he has 2 goals and 7 assist in 8 games. At both levels, he is above a point per game which is very good for such a player. He has both Czech and Polish citizenship and it’s unknown what country he will represent nationally.

Dariusz Damps. Age:15. Forward. Team: AZ Havirov U16.

This year with AZ Havirov U16, Damps has 6 goals and 3 assist in 25 games.

League: Czech u18

Oskar Rzekanowski. Age:18. Forward. Team AZ Havirov u18

Last year Rzekanowski represented Poland at the WJC-u18 D2A and played in the Czech u18 2. This year he made the jump to the primary league and has had 3 goals and 2 assist in 25 games.

Grzegorz Radzienciak. Age:17. Defenseman. Team: HC Trinec U18

Radzienciak is having a fantastic year. He has 11 goals and 18 assists in 43 games at the HC Trinec’s U18 team. He easily should make Poland’s roster for the upcoming u18s.

Szymon Bieniek. Age: 14. Defenseman. Team: HC Vitkovice U18

Yeah, 14 years old and already played at the u18 level. That is very impressive. At the same time, I don’t know why he was called up. Injuries? Lack of skill from other u18 players? In both games, he was held pointless. I would keep tabs on him though as next year he should be playing at the U16 level or maybe at u18 level again.

League: Czech

Aron Chmielewski. Age 24. Right Wing. Team: HC Trinec and HC Frydek-Mistek.

Chmielewski is one of the best polish players in the world. In 13 games with Trinec this year he has 2 goals and 2 assists. In 26 games with HC Frydek-Mistek, he has 22 goals and 17 assists. He also was a huge part of Poland’s Olympic Qualifier victory in Hungary with 2 goals and 2 assist in 3 games.

Country: Slovakia

League: Slovakia U18

Adrian Pawel Slowakiewicz. Age:16. Center. Team: HK SKP Poprad U18

This year Adrian has 5 goals and 8 assist in 43 games. Adrian is the grandson of former Polish national team player and coach Andrzej Slowakiewicz. Adrian has a strong chance to make the 2017 Polish U18 team.

Damian Tyczynski. Age:16.  Left Wing. Team: HK Spisska Nova Ves U18

Tyczynski is having a terrific year with Nova with 7 goals and 16 assists in 35 games. He will be on the radar for the Polish National team and the upcoming u18s.

Bartłomiej Wsól. Age:15. Forward. Team: HK Spisska Nova Ves U18

At 15, Wsól is playing at a high level for his age and is doing decently with 4 goals and 3 assist in 20 games.

Patryk Gosztyla. Age:16. Defenseman. Team: HK Spisska Nova Ves U18

The lone polish defenseman in Slovakia has only played 8 games this year for Nova and held pointlessly.

League: Slovakia Women’s

Kamila Wieczorek. Age 18. Right Wing. Team: ZHK Poprad

One of the best polish female hockey players, Kamila has just dominated this year in Slovakia scoring at over a 3.0ppg with 15 goals and 15 assists in 9 games. This is her first year in Slovakia and she is fifth in scoring. Have to hope an NWHL team is scouting her.
