We move to the top 20 of our rankings. Here, we begin to see top-line players for Poland U18 and/or their TLHK club. These are players you can project as key national contributors over the next decade

List Explainer & Players #50-21

20 – Alicja Kobiela (G), 18, Podhale Nowy Targ (26, +6)

GPGAASV%
156.65.841

No goalie faced more shots in the TLHK this year than Kobiela. On a poor Podhale team, she kept things competitive when they had no right to be. She earned call-ups to the U18 and EWHL squads during the year. On a better team, she would have better numbers, no doubt.

19 – Weronika Swiatek (F), 17, PTH Kozice Poznan (24, +5

GPGAPTS
1311617

Swiatek continues to be a leader on a young Poznan team. She scored at a goal per game pace during the TLHK regular season. In 2026, she’ll be a veteran of Poland U18 and is expected to make her fourth appearance for the IIHF squad.

18 – Nikola Wencel (D), 19, Naprzod Janow (29, +11)

GPGAPTS
2321416

Wencel was tied for sixth in assists among U20 skaters this past year. I think she could wear the white and red at the senior level one day. But I don’t think she is at that level yet and will need to raise her all-around game.

17 – Jadwiga Jankowska (F), 18, Naprzod Janow (21, +4)

GPGAPTS
1911920

A somewhat mild regular season was followed by an explosive playoff run, in which Jankowska put up 11 points (5G-6A-11PTS) in just eight games. A highly skilled forward with a strong shot, she excelled at the U18s level by driving offense. The finishing was poor or bad luck as she went goalless on 13 shots in five games. She will definitely be fighting for a senior team spot one day.

16 – Emilia Stankiewicz (F), 15, PTH Kozice Poznan (37, +21)

GPGAPTS
1319827

Stankiewicz has quickly become one of Poland’s best prospects. She was over double points per game production in both the TLHK and the Poland U16 league. She also made her first appearance for Poland U18, scoring a goal on eight shots in five games. Stankiewicz shows the potential to be a dynamic offensive player, and it’s no surprise that she is now moving over to Polonia Bytom for 2026. If the Lodz native takes another jump, she may be the key to Poland winning gold at the U18s.

15 – Milena Piasecka (D), 18, Polonia Bytom (17, +2)

GPGAPTS
17111425

Piasecka stepped into a larger role at Polonia Bytom and excelled. She had a particularly strong playoff run with 16 points in just seven games. She made her final appearance for the U18 squad, picking up an assist and eight shots. The two-time TLHK champion appears to have senior squad rosters in her future, but she is still lower on the senior depth chart. Last season, she made only a single appearance for Silesian Metropolis and now has four career matches.

14 – Patrycja Wójcik (D), 19, EHC Zunzgen-Sissach Damen (11, -3

GPGAPTS
21213

Wójcik is a solid defenseman with good size who helped her Swiss club win the SWHL B title in 2025. It’s surprising to me that she hasn’t represented Poland at the senior World Championship since 2022. She is returning to the TLHK with Polonia Bytom in 2026, which may be the key to a return to the national team.

13 – Natalia Wańczuk (D), 17, Naprzod Janow (19, +6)

GPGAPTS
2010919

Wańczuk is an offensive defenseman who is on the cusp of making the Polish national team at the senior level. She had a terrific year in the TLHK, averaging a point per game in the regular season and then adding another six points in seven playoff games. I would have liked to see more from her at the U18s, where she made her second appearance. In five games, she finished with just seven shots and no points. Given her offensive ability, I hope to see her contribute more in that area this season. Polish defenseman at the event as a whole only had six points. Nikola Isztok had half of those points and is aging off the roster for 2026. Her spot seems like a clear one that Wańczuk can step into.

12 – Agata Cybulska (F), 17, PTH Kozice Poznan (22, +10)

GPGAPTS
15141933

Cybulska has stayed loyal to Poznan for her young career. The talented playmaker led the team in scoring the during the 2025 season thanks to her 18 assists, which were tied for eighth among all TLHK skaters. She was also a leader at the D1B U18s, where her passing skills stayed on display with six assists. Cybulska is going to be a big part of the reason why the U18 squad will have such a good shot at gold in 2026. I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts to knock on the senior national team door as well.

11 – Karolina Gawandtka (F) – 16, Polonia Bytom (20, +9

GPGAPTS
17181331

Gawandtka is rapidly rising on the prospect lists for Poland! The young forward appears to be a star in the making, scoring wherever she went last year. Across the men’s U16 league, TLHK, and D1B U18s, she finished with 32 goals in 30 games. She has a remarkable ability to drive and get pucks to the net. At the U18s, she had 27 shots in five games. Averaging over 5 shots a game at only 15 years old is excellent production. If she can replicate that level of play in 2026, then Poland has a strong chance of promotion.
