December North American Prospects Update.

It’s a new year everyone! Time to see how the prospects in North American finished off their seasons. A note, in December there was the World Juniors, showcases, and holiday breaks so not many games were played. This update is kinda bare due to that.

Alan Lyszczarczyk. Forward. Owen Sound Attack (OHL) 26 GP 6 Goals 7 Assists 14 Points.

Lyszczarczyk had amazing world juniors, read about it here. In his return to Owen Sound, Lyszczarczyk would score 1 goal and average 3 shots a game in 3 games. I like seeing him shoot the puck more as a lack of shots was a big part of his drop off in November.

Filip Starzynski. Forward. Northern Michigan (NCAA) 21 GP 2 Goals 1 Assist 3 Points.

Starzynski added two points in December. He now has matched his point total from last year.

Tomasz Skokan. Defensemen. Kalkaska Rhinos (USPHL Premier) 17 GP 1 Goal 3 Assists 4 Points.

Skokan was with Poland for the World Juniors for most of the month and did not play a game with the Rhinos in December.

Mateusz Wawrzkiewicz. Forward. Tampa Bay Juniors (USPHL Elite) 21 GP 11 Goals 13 Assists 24 Points.

Wawrzkiewicz has continued to do well this year. He now ranks 2nd in points for u17 players. His points per game of 1.14 is also 2nd among players with at least 10 games. He also is 2nd on his team in points but leads his team in points per game. I can’t wait to see him go up against some tougher competition.

Oskar Rzekanowski. Forward. Bradford Rattlers (GMHL) 25 GP 10 Goals 18 Assists 28 Points

Rzekanowski has played two games since our last up but had 3 points giving him a new GMHL career high of 28 points.

Michal Wojciechowski. Defensemen. River East Royal Knights (MMJHL) 26 GP 1 Assist 1 Point.

Wojciechowski played 4 games and picked up zero points.
